Lead Software Developer
Job Description:
You, now having seen several major development projects through from inception to a successful launch, are ready to take your career up a notch or two. Your entrepreneurial edge has you seeking an opportunity to get in early at a small software development company that's entirely self financed and poised to more than double its earnings from last year.
Infonium Inc. is in the business of healthcare information management. We have two lines of business that we're actively pursuing. One is health system governance and accountability. The other is hospital administration enhancement applications.
We're seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. This role will see you assume responsibility for our main product, Quanta. In this position you will maintain the existing product, learn the inside details of the application, and then ramp up the next round of development. In demonstrating you have what it takes to get this product under your control we see this position growing into more and more of a leadership role. You will report to the President and will work alongside two other full time developers.
Our technologies include: OS X on the desktop, Linux in the server environment, Java plus Hibernate, Ruby on Rails, and a number of other open source components. We're an agile shop that sees us deploying useful results in shorter timeframes using short iterations. We have a positive and easy going work environment which acknowledges your hard work and encourages continuous learning and personal growth.
Qualifications
Degree - Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
